Because Workplace Safety Starts With Understanding Risk.

Guardian Point advises California organizations on real-world workplace violence risk — identifying exposure, decision gaps, and breakdown points before incidents occur.

Compliance matters. Readiness determines outcomes.
Training is prescribed only if warranted.

Veteran-Led. California-Focused.

Guardian Point was founded to help organizations make clear, defensible decisions around workplace risk.

Built on real-world experience in high-risk environments, our approach prioritizes assessment, judgment, and readiness before training is ever considered.

When training is prescribed, it is targeted, practical, and aligned to the actual risk profile of the workplace—not generic scenarios.

Protecting Workplaces. Saving Lives.

Our mission is simple: make every California workplace safer, compliant, and prepared.

We achieve this by:

Aligning with SB 553 – ensuring training meets California’s workplace violence prevention requirements.

Customizing programs – built for schools, healthcare, faith-based organizations, and companies.

Focusing on readiness – giving employees practical skills that go beyond compliance checklists.

Delivering veteran-led instruction – grounded in real-world military, martial arts, and security experience.

Providing transparent pricing – flat-rate packages with no hidden costs or surprises.

Why Guardian Point Exists

Guardian Point exists to close the gap between compliance and real-world readiness.

Many organizations meet requirements but remain exposed when decisions matter most. Policies exist. Risk remains.

We begin with assessment — identifying exposure across people, process, and physical space.

Only then do we prescribe readiness.

Sometimes that includes training. Sometimes it doesn’t.

Our role is not to sell programs.

It’s to ensure the right response exists for the risk at hand.

Veteran-Led Instruction

Guardian Point is led by U.S. Army veteran Bennett Thompson, whose background spans real-world risk environments, decision-making under pressure, and applied readiness.

That experience informs how risk is assessed before training is ever recommended. The focus isn’t drills for their own sake—it’s understanding how people actually respond when plans are tested.

Training, when prescribed, is practical, restrained, and tailored to the realities of the workplace.

Core Values

Preparedness First – Readiness is measured by decisions under pressure, not completed checklists.

Clarity Over Complexity – Risk must be understood quickly and acted on decisively. We avoid jargon, theatrics, and unnecessary escalation.

Judgment Before Training – Training is prescribed only when risk warrants it. Assessment always comes first.

Integrity in Scope – We recommend only what is necessary. No overtraining. No undertraining. No filler.

Service-Driven – Every engagement is guided by a single objective: ensuring the right response exists when it matters most.

Who We Serve

Guardian Point works with organizations that take risk seriously and want clarity before action.

We serve teams responsible for people, operations, and public-facing environments—where decisions under pressure carry real consequences.

  • Healthcare and Behavioral Health – High-stress environments where escalation risk, staff safety, and response clarity matter.

  • Education and Campus Settings – Schools, colleges, and training facilities balancing compliance with real-world exposure.

  • Public-Facing Organizations –Businesses where employees regularly interact with customers, clients, or the public.

  • Faith-Based and Community Organizations – Facilities responsible for volunteers, congregants, and open-access spaces.

  • Private Companies and Enterprises – Organizations seeking defensible, risk-informed readiness—not one-size-fits-all training.

We are not a fit for organizations looking to check a box or purchase generic training.
We work best with teams that want to understand risk first—and respond appropriately.

Ready to Understand Your Risk?

Most gaps aren’t visible until pressure exposes them.

Before training is considered, we assess real-world exposure across people, process, and physical space—so decisions are based on risk, not assumptions.

Training is prescribed only if warranted.
